Jesus came to set the captives free from bondage
To Be Set Free means to surrender (someone, or something) to another; hand over, throw or hurl;
If you are living on this earth, then even you, Christian, are not immune to bondage: depression, mental disorder, sickness, disease, addiction, and trauma. How You Choose to “deal” with bondage sets you apart from the world. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly , Hear [godly] counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end. Psalm 1:1, Proverbs 19:20
If you heard the worldly term, ” The fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree, ” it was derived from “a tree is recognized by its fruit.” Matthew 12:33. Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. Matthew 7:17
A tree has roots. Roots gives strength to the branches with leaves that produce fruit. You can prune a branch and it will grow back. But if you cut the tree at its root, it perishes.
