The Lying Spirit

I will be a lying spirit in the mouth…

I saw the LORD sitting on His throne, and all the host of heaven standing on His right and on his left. And the LORD said, ‘Who will entice Ahab king of Israel to march up and fall at Ramoth-gilead?’ Then a spirit came forward, stood before the LORD, and said, ‘I will entice him.’ And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.

So you see, the LORD has put a lying spirit in the mouths of these prophets of yours, and the LORD has pronounced disaster against you.” 1 Kings 22:18-22; 2 Chronicles 18:22

Court was in session in Heaven. Read verse 18 again.

In man’s court of law, you are sworn to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Yet, when a lie is granted, you may have been taught to say, No weapon formed against me shall prosper.

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord. Isaiah 54:17

So, Why did it prevail? Well, you must first ask, how was the weapon obtained?

Let a man examine himself: What did you do? Were your hands clean? Was your heart pure?

If Lying Spirits are following you, Know the origin. When did you tell your first lie?

From whom did you learn to lie, or who taught you how to lie?

Because it is written in the 23rd Psalm, surely goodness and mercy shall follow you, and

GOD goes before you. Deuteronomy 31:8

And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.

Now, if after examing yourself you find no fault then the reason (below) is part of God’s plan.

Oh Wait, Taste, and your eyes shall Behold and See the reward of the wicked.

Spirits can be erased and cast out. Lying word curses can be lifted off, and strongholds, erected by lying words, can be pulled down. Oh but a broken and contrite spirit, God will not despise.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. Psalm 51:17

“.. and the LORD has pronounced disaster against you [wicked].”

When your hands are cleaned, and sins are forgiven, you can Decree a thing and it shall be established. Job 22:28

Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

“DECLARE The Decree, THE LORD HAS PRONOUNCED DISASTER AGAINST YOU OH EVIL ONE, AND ALL THOSE ENJOINED (WHO HAVE JOINED HAND IN HAND) WITH YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS!!!”

Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered. Proverbs 11:21

**Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; Isaiah 10:1**

Pride does not think it is wrong! God is not at all in the thoughts of the children of pride. Sadly, pride and the lying spirit are operating in many church-going, water baptized, professed Child[ren] of God.

The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. Psalm 10:4

TRUTH Overturns a LIE!

Satan is a liar and father of lies.

You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44

All things were created by God, and for him.

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: Colossians 1:16

Evildoers, false witnesses, liars, scoffers, mockers, spreading themselves like a green bay tree (Psalm 37:35) think they have won; reaping the manifestation of their lie year after year, while you cry out night after night. Know this, No matter how long, or how loud a lie is told, it will never become Truth.

GOD is not Mocked.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7
