SCATTERED

Jesus answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Matthew 15:24

Nearly 20 years later, I remember a sermon explaining the character of sheep.  The Pastor said, “Sheep get lost, from their herd, six inches at a time.”  They are easily distracted, or misled.  While, many of us have never physically seen a herd of sheep, or know any shepherds,  make no mistake biblical reference to sheep is for us to look unto Jesus as our Shepherd, the lamb of God. He is sent to find the children of God lost by the world’s guidance, and bring them back home into the sheepfold to dwell safely in unity.

During the year 2020, the character of mankind, (sheep) without a shepherd has been shown exponentially as a result of what was unleashed by the prince of this world. Jesus said, Hereafter I will not talk much with you, for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in Me. John 14:30

When mankind (sheep) are scattered from their herd to do what they think is better, because of unbelief in TRUTH they are positioned to be devoured.  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8 

The word Devour can be found in Concordance G2666 which is defined as to drink down, gulp, swallow,  drown.  So shall they (mankind) fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. Isaiah 59:19 

Flood waters cause drowning.

Sheep can physically drown in water because their wet, heavy, wool coats submerges them.  They need their shepherd with his staff/Crook to grab them by the neck and be pulled to safety.  If the shepherd does not notice lost sheep, they drown, or are devoured by predatory animals.

Mankind is experiencing a flood of events by the enemy.  Many are spiritually drowning, physically perishing, and being devoured (due to lack of wisdom) by predatory man with their hidden agendas. Look again at the Concordance for the word Devour. Notice 666.

The Mark of the Beast- Revelation 13:16-18

16 And the second beast required all people small, and great, rich and poor, free and slave to receive a mark on their right hand or forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark— the name of the beast or the number of its name.

18 Here is a call for wisdom: Let the one who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and that number is 666

Mankind, even those who claim to believe, are lost, and scattered.

Mankind’s ONLY rescue is Jesus, our shepherd by his staff. 

The Lord is my shepherd, His rod and staff comfort me. Psalm 23:1, 4

Prayer aloud for repentance and return home to safe dwellings:

Our Father which are in heaven hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: for thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory, for ever. Amen.   Matthew 6:9-13

I forgive my enemies and ask you Lord to forgive me for trespassing and sinning against your will. I repent of my sins and desire to learn of you. I ask for Wisdom and to Led by your Holy Spirit in the way of righteousness. In Jesus Name. 

The Parable of the Prodigal Son- Luke 15:11-32

 Then Jesus said, “There was a man who had two sons.  The younger son said to him, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate. So he divided his property between them . After a few days, the younger son got everything together and journeyed to a distant country, where he squandered his wealth in wild living.   After he had spent all he had, a severe famine swept through that country, and he began to be in need.  So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him into his fields to feed the pigs.  He longed to fill his belly with the pods the pigs were eating, but no one would give him a thing.  Finally he came to his senses and said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have plenty of food? But here I am, starving to death!  I will get up and go back to my father and say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants. So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still in the distance, his father saw him and was filled with compassion. He ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him.  The son declared, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.  But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.  Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let us feast and celebrate.  For this son of mine was dead and is alive again! He was lost and is found! So they began to celebrate.  Meanwhile the older son was in the field, and as he approached the house, he heard music and dancing.  So he called one of the servants and asked what was going on.  ‘Your brother has returned, he said, ‘and your father has killed the fattened calf, because he has him back safe and sound 28 The older son became angry and refused to go in. So his father came out and pleaded with him. But he answered his father, ‘Look, all these years I have served you and never disobeyed a commandment of yours. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends.  But when this son of yours returns from squandering your wealth with prostitutes, you kill the fattened calf for him  ‘Son, you are always with me, the father said, ‘and all that is mine is yours.  But it was fitting to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; 

he was lost and is found.
