KNOW THY WORDS

Dearly Beloved,

It is written in 2 Timothy 2:15, Study to show thyself approved into God. a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  This means read it for yourself; Not simply repeat what you have heard; oftentimes misquoted.  Because it is also written in Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Deuteronomy 12:32 “Whatever I command you, you shall be careful to do; you shall not add to nor take away from it.

To Add to, or take nothing from every scripture [that] is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16-17;

Simply means do not rely upon your own interpretation or, understanding. Oh wait!  that too is written in Proverbs 3:5.  Because Proverbs 30:5-6 reads Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.  Add you not to his words, lest he reprove you, and you be found a liar.

Oh My! A liar.

Refer to the serpent talking to Eve in the garden of Eden back in Genesis chapter 3 if you need a refresher.  He twisted the Word of Truth-as it is written; thereby making him a Liar.

Now, if those preceding scriptures are not refuted, why then is almost every Preacher in the pulpit telling their flock that the Devil comes to Steal, Kill and Destroy?

Somebody, please tell me where is that written in the Bible?

Read the scripture yourself. Turn to John 10:10.   The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Jesus even tells you who is the thief in John 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.  Because it is written Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Why?

Because Revelation 22:14 reads Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Now if you want to know who the devil/enemy is, Jesus tells us in John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

The Devil is a Murderer and a Liar from the beginning; of which we already found evidence of Truth in Genesis.

Murderer

The definition of Murderer come from the Law. The killing of another human being under conditions specifically covered in law. Not only in the U.S. statues with terms that murder is committed, such as with malice, aforethought, deliberation, or premeditation, and sentenced by degrees (first, or second) which usually occurs during another crime: robbery; but also let’s read what is written in the Book of Law (Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.)

  • Exodus 20:13-KJV, God told Moses to write: Thou shalt not kill. The NIV, ESV, ISB, NASB translations all say Thou shalt not commit murder.

  • Matthew 19:18- KJV. Jesus told the rich man to keep the commandments. Which ones he asked?  Jesus answered,  Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,..

Murderers kill another living creature usually for robbery (lusting after something not theirs) and will tell a lie in a minute to cover it up.

  • Job 24:14 The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief.

Now many unlearned persons equate this thief in the night with the second coming of Jesus as thief in the night.

    • 1 Thessalonians 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
2 Peter 3:10  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
    • Revelation 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
    • Revelation 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed [is] he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
  • Matthew 26:55 In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.

This is why you need a Concordance.

John 10:10  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.

Thief- Hebrew word H1590 gannâb

One who seduces by false doctrine.  A person who steals another person’s property, especially by stealth and without using force or violence; cunning enticing words smoother than butter.

How many [seducing] Pastors are asking for a specific donation to receive your Miracle?

Thief-Greek word G2812 kleptēs

An embezzler, pilferer;  equivalent to come unexpectedly. The name is transferred to false teachers, who do not care to instruct men, but abuse their confidence for their own gain.  Many shepherds leading their flock astray.

Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

1 Timothy 6:3-5 If anyone teaches false doctrine and does not agree with the sound teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the teaching that promotes godliness, he is conceited and understands nothing, but has an unhealthy interest in disputes and arguments over words. From these come envy, quarreling, slander, evil suspicions, and constant disagreement among people whose minds are depraved and deprived of the truth, who imagine that godliness is a way to material gain.

One who makes it his business to cheat and defraud; as a den of thieves.

Using THE WORD for PROPAGANDA

Matthew 21:12-13  And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Steal

Hebrew-1589 gānaḇ

Greek- 2815 kleptō

To steal or carry away; commit or practice theft. To take and carry away feloniously, as the personal goods of another with intent by deception to secretly  take what belongs to another without his consent.

  • Satan does not want your property. He is in the world controlling the actions of others through lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life.

  • He wants you to forfeit life more abundantly and everlasting life by worshipping him to fulfill lustful desires of the world.

    • Job 1:7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

    • 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

    • Revelation 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

    • John 14:30 Jesus said Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

    • 1 John 2:16 For all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

      • HINT: Satan and the prince of this world ARE NOT THE SAME. But they are on the same team.
  • Zechariah 5:3-4 Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it. I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely (liar) by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.

Theft in the world is evident from televised news and programs ‘for entertainment’  Grand Theft Auto is a video game.  Ponzi schemes crafted by embezzlers who are liars.  Burglary of homes sometimes resulting in murder. And of course news reports of what city is the Murder Capital.

Liars, Thieves, and Murderers are bound by Satan and all work together.

These are Unclean spirits, or Devils. As Jesus stated Matthew 10:8  Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

So, does “the devil come to kill steal and destroy” in John 10:10?

Whom did Jesus say was the father of liars and murderers in John 8:44?

The Devil. Greek Word 1228- diabolos

  1. Prone to slander, slanderous, accusing falsely; a traducer; specially; a calumniator, false accuser, slanderer,

  2. metaph.name applied to a man who, by opposing the cause of God, may be said to act the part of the devil or to side with him

Kill- Greek word 2380 thuó,  thýō

Defined as to deprive of life in any manner; cause the death of; slay, or slaughter. To offer sacrifice; generally, an animal to offer on an altar.

1 Corinthians 10:18,21 Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?  What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.

Satanic worshippers, and other religions still slaughter animals for sacrificial ceremonies

  • Jesus’ sacrificial life was freely given on the cross to become the propitiation for our sins, eliminated the Old Testament law of slaughtering animals for sacrificial offerings. Jesus became the ONLY sacrificial lamb worthy to open the scroll, written in Revelation 5:2,3,5

GET YOUR WORDS RIGHT AND CHOOSE YE THIS DAY WHOM YOU WILL SERVE!

Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that [were] on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell:

What does Jesus say he come to do in John 10:10?

I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

So, how might you have life, and have it more abundantly?

  • John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

  • John 10:7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

  • John 10:1 “Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever does not enter the sheepfold by the gate, but climbs in some other way, is a thief and a robber.

Truth Be Told. There are many religious thieves, swearing falsely by the name of God, thinking they will get to heaven by other means, except by coming through the door of Jesus.

I met a Thief earlier this year.

Circumstances placed me in an environment outside my comfort zone and I was paired with a young man during a business training environment to learn a sales script. No personal conversation was exchanged. Yet, as we progressed in our purpose, he was given a reward. I was not. Afterward, he expressed to me his dismay for me not receiving the same reward as he.  The next day, we were paired again, and I received the reward. The young man gave me a high five. I “quietly” said aloud, “Thank you Jesus.”

A few days later, I departed, and the young man was unaware. When he found out, he called me.
Below summarizes our personal conversation:

Him: I just found out you weren’t there. Did you tell them you weren’t feeling it? What happened?

Me: No. I was told there were concerns I was “too” quiet for what was required and I really hadn’t learned their script.

Him: Yeah. That script is like a movie. But I noticed you were getting more quiet and I was like, she ain’t really feeling this.

Me: Just between you and I, I am a Pastor. Sometimes I am put in places to meet people I ordinarily wouldn’t meet; to learn.

Him: That’s a good way of looking at it. Oh so you’re a Pastor. Ok. I noticed your oratorical skills..Then you said, “Thank you Jesus.” Ok.  Well I’m not a Christian. But I am spiritual. I’m Rastafarian. According to Numbers 6 we don’t cut our hair which is why I have to keep the length of my dreadlocks under a wrap so as not to cause a distraction.

Me: Do you have a Bible?

Him: Yes.

Me: Can you go get it?

Him: Sure. It’s upstairs.

The conversation ended with me having a headache from his confusion after nearly an hour of me plainly pointing out scripture in a Bible that he owned, of which his religious belief steal passages from.

Herein lies A thief. Who is being taught false doctrine.

Who blatantly said I am not a Christian and disregard Jesus: Who was with God, is God, and is The Word made flesh.

Him: Ok. Well keep doing what you’re doing cause there are a lot of people in need. Peace and Blessings.

Me: Thank you.

Destroy

Greek word 622 apollymi

To destroy utterly one’s well being; to be lost, to put out of the way entirely, abolish, put an end to ruin render useless; to kill; to declare that one must be put to death; demolish, metaph. to perish, devote or give over to eternal misery in hell

To ruin; to annihilate a thing by demolishing or by burning; as, to destroy a city, or bring to ruin; to bring to naught; (destroy one’s reputation); To lay waste; to make desolate.

Conclusion

It is the Holy Spirit that reveals Jesus.

Matthew 16:13-17 KJV When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?  And they said, Some [say that thou art] John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.  And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

Scripture tells us in Matthew 27:38 There were two thieves crucified with Jesus on the Cross: One on the right hand, and another on the left. What did one thief do?

Luke 23:39-42 And one of the (thieves) malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.

But the other thief answering (his partner in crime) rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

That (ONE) thief on the cross recognized Jesus as King, only by the Holy Spirit.

He believed. He entered Paradise with Jesus.

Only One

 Which ONE are you?

John 20:31 But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name.

The Spirit of the Living God says:

Where there is error, there is all manner of evil.”

Speak Truth As it is Written!  This is what Jesus did. And the Devil departed him.

Read Matthew 4:1-11

I hope to See you in the New Jerusalem!
